NVIDIA Shows Off DLSS 5 Graphics Improvements In Hogwarts Legacy - 80 Level
NVIDIA has rolled out its next-generation DLSS 5 technology this month, bringing it to Hogwarts Legacy, War Thunder, and Where Winds Meet.
NVIDIA's DLSS 5 technology is now available in Hogwarts Legacy, aiming to enhance lighting and material quality. The update, which uses 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, is designed to 'boost environmental uplift while preserving character identity'.
The upgrades look much more subtle than in leaked footage, making it almost impossible to tell whether DLSS 5 is enabled without a side-by-side comparison.
With the addition of DLSS 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to Hogwarts Legacy, our complete suite of DLSS technologies will now be supported, enabling you to accelerate and enhance your experiences in the wizarding world.
Performance and Requirements
For an optimal experience, users should enable DLSS Super Resolution, Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, and DLSS Ray Reconstruction. Activating all these settings, along with ray tracing, allows Hogwarts Legacy to run at 4K at up to 300 frames per second on the GeForce RTX 5090.
Official DLSS 5 support is currently limited to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark systems.
Other Games Receiving the Update
War Thunder, a free-to-play military combat game, will receive DLSS 5 support in mid-November, with improvements to highlights, shadows, and lighting. Where Winds Meet, a Wuxia-inspired open-world game, will get the update on November 23.
