Revolut has secured a $115 billion valuation following a secondary share sale, cementing its position as Europe's most valuable private company.

The transaction, led by Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, and Durable Capital Partners, primarily provides liquidity for employees and existing shareholders rather than raising new capital. The company's expansion is underpinned by sustained profitability: 2025 revenue rose 46% to $6.0 billion, while pre-tax profit increased 57% to $2.3 billion, producing a 38% pre-tax margin.

Revolut has been aggressively expanding its banking footprint across global markets. In 2026, the company launched full banking operations in Mexico, the UK, and Australia, secured a French banking licence, received approval to acquire Banco Cetelem in Argentina, and obtained preliminary conditional OCC approval for a US national bank charter.

Every bank we launch means more people get a better way to manage their money, wherever they live. Our team makes that happen, and employee ownership has been central to our culture from day one. That's why we've once again given them the chance to share in the value they've created, as we work towards our next milestone of serving 100 million customers.

Super App Expansion

Revolut quietly launched CFD trading in 29 countries, mostly in Europe, last year through CMC Markets' infrastructure. The move strengthens Revolut's position in the competitive super-app race, where retail brokers are striving to build integrated platforms offering multiple financial services.

The fintech giant has also seen significant growth in its cryptocurrency offerings. As of October 2025, at least 14 million customers were fully onboarded crypto users, representing 22% of Revolut's 65 million-plus customer base. This crypto adoption has become a key differentiator in the market.

Targeting 100 million users by mid-2027, Revolut's expanding banking footprint and rapidly growing trading offerings reinforce its position ahead of competing retail brokers including NAGA, XTB and Robinhood, all of which are also pursuing super-app strategies.
