XS.com has brought back Hanna Le as regional business development director for Vietnam, where she will lead business development and partner relationships.

Le will work with regional and marketing teams on offers for local clients and partners in Vietnam. She previously served as country manager at XS.com for nine months until July 2024, before joining rival broker GTCFX as business development director.

Vietnam does not regulate retail online margin trading. Only institutions licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam may deal in foreign exchange and derivatives, yet offshore brokers continue hiring local managers and opening representative offices in the country.

Market Knowledge Valued

Wael Hammad, group chief commercial officer at XS.com, highlighted Le's market knowledge and familiarity with the organization as key factors in her rehiring.

Her market knowledge and familiarity with our organization position her well for this role.

Before her first stint at XS.com, Le was country manager at Radex Markets from December 2022 to November 2023. Earlier in her career, she managed sales at InfoFX, an agency in Vietnam that helped brokers enter the country with branding and introducing-broker contacts.

Regional Expansion Strategy

The Vietnam appointment continues a pattern of regional hiring at XS.com this year. The broker has made six senior hires since March, including Simon-Peter Massabni as head of retail sales in March, Omar Alaa as marketing director for the Middle East and North Africa in June, and Mariana Higa from Vantage for marketing in October.

Le moved to GTCFX in July 2024 and left in June 2025. Two months after she joined GTCFX, the broker opened an office in Thailand under a new country manager.

The Asia-Pacific region is crucial for retail brokers, drawing 30.5% of organic traffic to broker websites tracked by FM Intelligence in the third quarter of 2026, second only to Europe at 42%.
