Robinhood Q3: Revenue Hits $1.42B as Crypto Income Falls 55%
Robinhood reported $1.42 billion in Q3 2026 revenue, a 12% increase from the previous year, while its crypto business saw a 55% decline in revenue to $120 million.
The platform's total assets reached $396 billion as net deposits and higher equity valuations partly offset lower cryptocurrency valuations. Robinhood's Q3 results showed a 19% increase in transaction-based revenue to $867 million, with event contracts bringing in $173 million, marking a sixfold increase.

Crypto Weakness Meets Gains
Options revenue climbed 31% to $399 million, while equities gained 41% to add $121 million. However, crypto revenue fell 55% to $120 million, with volume on Robinhood's main app dropping 48% year-over-year to $21 billion. Bitstamp volume fell 28% to $29 billion.
The company's net income reached $476 million, though this was 14% lower than the same quarter last year. It includes $0.07 per share, or $67 million in unrealized losses primarily tied to Robinhood Venture Fund 1's mark-to-market adjustments.
Expansion and Cost Management
Robinhood reported a 7% increase in funded customers to 28.7 million. The company expanded internationally, launching crypto trading in the UK and obtaining authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority, with plans for a regional rollout in 2027.
Its Robinhood Chain, launched in June, became a top-5 chain by revenue and volume in its first quarter, generating over $80 billion in DEX volume and more than $50 million in revenue. Operating expenses grew by 16% to $739 million due to higher credit loss provisions, though management trimmed its 2026 adjusted outlook by $25 million.
