Tether celebrated Bitcoin's whitepaper 18th birthday with a comic explaining key concepts, as Bitcoin trades near $77,525 with bearish indicators.
Paolo Ardoino from Tether marked the 18th anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper with a celebratory message. The nine-page document, released by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008, introduced peer-to-peer digital currency to the world.
The post referenced several Bitcoin milestones, including the famous 10,000 BTC pizza purchase, the fixed 21 million supply cap, and the private key principle. All these concepts were distilled into a new explanatory comic released by Tether.
Currently, Bitcoin trades at $77,525.41 within its Bollinger Bands on the 4-hour chart. The EMA50 at $79,778.93 and EMA200 at $81,337.06 serve as overhead resistance levels.
The MACD death cross at -897.45 maintains a bearish structure, while the RSI at 38.83 indicates neutral momentum. This suggests a potential test of the lower band near $75,556.12 before any sustained recovery.
