Announcing NixOSBuilder: a browser-based wizard that generates a flake-based NixOS config

The tool guides users through several configuration screens including locale selection, desktop environment, profile and applications, disk setup, boot options, network configuration, user creation, and Home Manager settings. It produces a complete flake with configuration.nix and home.nix files, with an optional disko layout.

Technical Features

NixOSBuilder also includes a "technical view" that displays all available options for advanced users. The tool is currently available at https://nixosbuilder.sincorchetes.tech and the developer is seeking feedback from experienced NixOS users to improve the tool.
