ONEOK & Urologic Specialists of Oklahoma hit with lawsuits over alleged data breaches - www.fox23.com
ONEOK and Urologic Specialists of Oklahoma have been hit with class action lawsuits following alleged data breaches affecting sensitive information of employees and patients.
A former employee of ONEOK filed a class action lawsuit claiming the company failed to protect highly sensitive data after a hack by a group called Redact on or around October 16, 2026. The lawsuit alleges that Redact maintains a data leak site on the Dark Web where it publishes stolen data to pressure affected organizations.
The compromised data could include names, addresses, social security numbers, dates of birth, and financial information, with Redact reportedly leaking 67.5 GB of sensitive data. The lawsuit states that employees' private information is now 'forever exposed and unsecure.'
Urologic Breach
Urologic Specialists of Oklahoma faces a similar lawsuit after cybercriminals infiltrated its computer system on October 22, allegedly by a group called Everest. The breach resulted in the loss of control over patients' private information, with approximately 200 gigabytes of data compromised.
Unauthorized activity affected limited data accessed from a very small number of cloud-based user accounts. Upon discovery, we promptly contained the activity, secured the affected accounts, notified federal law enforcement and began our investigation alongside leading, third-party cybersecurity experts.
The number of patients affected remains unclear according to the lawsuit. Both organizations responded with statements emphasizing their commitment to data security and their work with third-party experts to address the incidents.
