Faroo Officially Launches stPROS, Opening a New Entry Point for Liquid Staking in the Pharos Ecosystem - 深潮TechFlow

Faroo stPROS officially launched on the Pharos mainnet today, marking the debut project of Pharos' ecosystem incubation program. The protocol has integrated with mainstream Web3 wallets, allowing users to stake PROS and participate in ecosystem liquidity management through Binance Web3 Wallet and OKX Web3 Wallet without complex network configurations.

Traditional Proof of Stake mechanisms often involve long-term asset lock-ups that limit capital efficiency. stPROS addresses this friction by allowing users to stake PROS while receiving freely transferable and tradable liquid staking tokens, enabling seamless access to on-chain financial scenarios at any time.

Exchange Rate Model Benefits

Unlike the 'rebase' model, stPROS adopts a yield-bearing exchange-rate model better suited for DeFi portfolios. This maintains constant account balances, eliminating bookkeeping distortion and slippage risks during cross-contract settlements. Staking rewards are automatically accumulated and reflected in the appreciation of the stPROS-to-PROS exchange rate.

The protocol features built-in quick redemption that uses newly minted tokens to fulfill redemptions immediately, eliminating wait times for redemption cycles. Users can complete secure signature interactions within familiar wallet environments through the integrated dApp browsers.

November Product Expansion

The stPROS launch represents Faroo's first step in building yield infrastructure for the Pharos ecosystem. By the end of November, the protocol will introduce two core modules: the RWA yield asset tbPROS and the Faroo Points incentive system.

tbPROS will integrate native PoS staking with real-world asset financial structures through a Hybrid Yield framework. The Faroo Points system will reward users across three dimensions: asset retention, product interaction, and ecosystem expansion, prioritizing those who hold stPROS long-term and participate in early development.

Technical Foundation

As the inaugural project of Pharos' $10 million ecosystem incubation program, Faroo achieved a post-money valuation of $10 million. The funding will focus on guiding early-stage liquidity, security audits, and ecosystem expansion.

Faroo integrates Bifrost's SLPx technical module, providing standardized interfaces for cross-chain communication and liquid staking asset minting. Custom optimizations targeting validator nodes and state synchronization mechanisms reduce latency and enhance finality, ensuring financial-grade security while lowering user interaction costs.
