Putin: Russia is African continent’s best partner, not ‘colonial’ West

The Russian leader made these claims during the two-day Russia-Africa Summit, where he addressed leaders from numerous African nations. Putin emphasized that Russia offers a partnership model distinct from what he characterized as the exploitative relationship maintained by Western powers.

The summit represents Russia's ongoing efforts to strengthen its diplomatic and economic ties across Africa, positioning itself as a counterbalance to Western influence on the continent.
