Picotronix modular oscilloscope and logic analyzer features two Raspberry Pi Pico 2 boards (Crowdfunding)
Sydney-based Thort Werx Pty Ltd has launched Picotronix, a modular oscilloscope and logic analyzer featuring two Raspberry Pi Pico 2 boards.
The Picotronix system utilizes one Raspberry Pi Pico 2 as a signal processor and another Pico 2 W to drive the display and provide wireless connectivity. The solution consists of a Main Module with an integrated LCD screen and three expansion ports for connecting picoPods plug-in modules.
Key Specifications
The device functions as a two-channel digital storage oscilloscope and an 8-channel logic analyzer, expandable up to 14 channels with a picoPod. It offers a sample rate of up to 150 MHz and includes a frequency meter. The display is a 320 × 240 color LCD from Pimoroni.
Expansion Capabilities
Picotronix features three expansion ports: two 10-pin analog ports and one 26-pin multifunction port. The analog channel accepts 3 Vpp or 16.6 Vpp at 1 MΩ. Users can add high-speed ADCs, mixed-logic family logic state analysis, waveform generators, and analog conditioning through picoPod modules.
