Rockchip RK3576-powered SMARC 2.2 system-on-module and development board target Edge AI applications
MYIR has introduced the MYC-JR3576, a SMARC 2.2 system-on-module powered by Rockchip's RK3576 octa-core processor with 6 TOPS NPU, designed specifically for Edge AI applications.
The MYC-JR3576 module features a Rockchip RK3576 or RK3576J SoC with 4x Cortex-A72 cores at 2.2GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 cores at 1.8GHz, plus an ARM Mali-G52 MC3 GPU. Its 6 TOPS neural processing unit makes it particularly suitable for AI applications at the edge.
Technical Specifications
The module supports up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 64GB eMMC flash storage. It includes an optional WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 module and exposes all I/Os through a 314-pin MXM connector following the SMARC 2.2 standard. The module measures 43 x 45 mm.
Market Position
MYIR positions this as the socketed counterpart to its MYC-LR3576 module introduced in 2024. This dual offering provides developers with both solder-down and standard form factor options using the same processor, increasing flexibility for various Edge AI implementations.
