France: Watching the Post-Riot Protests

The French capital remains on edge as authorities implement security measures ahead of today's protests. The situation escalated dramatically when demonstrations turned into riots last weekend, prompting authorities to impose curfews across affected areas.

Tensions further intensified yesterday with an alleged racist mass shooting on the outskirts of Paris, adding to the nation's anxiety. Security forces are preparing for potential unrest as protesters gather today.
