Ukraine says Starlink and Starshield connection 'stable' again
Ukraine has regained a stable connection to the Starlink and Starshield satellite communications systems, Kyiv's defence minister announced on Saturday.
The announcement follows recent disruptions that had strained relations between Ukraine and the United States. The Starlink and Starshield systems, developed by Elon Musk's SpaceX, are vital for Ukraine's military communications and operations on the battlefield.
The satellite networks have become essential infrastructure for Ukrainian forces since the conflict began, providing reliable communication channels when traditional systems are compromised or destroyed.
Tensions with Washington
Recent disruptions to the connection led to tensions with Washington over the SpaceX-made network crucial to the Ukrainian army's operations.
