'This is Switzerland, not f***ing Britain!': Moment furious Swiss cop berates Brit Youtuber for 'driving like a maniac' across Alps during supercar rally

The confrontation occurred on October 15 around the Susten Pass when Swiss police stopped a group of approximately 20 supercars, including a McLaren 720S and an Audi R8 V10. The incident was captured on video by 'Jay P', a British influencer with 133,000 Instagram followers, who later shared the footage titled 'I drove 12 hours to Swiss Alps but it ended badly.'

In the now-deleted video, one member of the group was seen being reprimanded by officers after performing dangerous maneuvers. A clip showed an open-top car narrowly avoiding a collision with a white van on a mountain pass, while another section depicted a man doing doughnuts on a Swiss road.

Police Response

The confrontation escalated when a Swiss officer shouted at the driver: 'You're driving like a maniac!' The officer added: 'This is Switzerland, not f***ing Britain,' as one of the Britons cackled from inside his car. Police noted that one car's brakes were smoking during the incident.

Aftermath

Following the incident, Jay P claimed that Swiss police treated his group like 'children' and accused them of lacking a sense of humor. The Uri cantonal police confirmed they are reviewing the footage to determine if any criminal offenses against road traffic laws occurred.

Initial checks revealed no immediate traffic violations, but the force has informed neighboring police services about the incident. The Daily Mail has reached out to Jay P for comment as the investigation continues.
