I tested Advanced Shader Delivery on my Nvidia GPU, and Gears: E-Day now loads almost instantly - Club386
Nvidia has released Game Ready driver 621.01, bringing Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery feature to GeForce graphics cards, significantly reducing game loading times.
The feature has been available on Radeon GPUs for some time, with Microsoft now expanding support to Intel and Nvidia. Users don't need to take any additional steps beyond updating their drivers to enable the functionality.
Platform Limitations
To benefit from Advanced Shader Delivery, players must use compatible games through the Xbox app. Microsoft has confirmed the technology will eventually arrive on Epic Games and Steam, though no specific timeline has been provided beyond 'soon'.

Performance Benefits
Testing with Gears of War: E-Day showed the game loading within seconds instead of the usual 10+ minutes compilation time. Beyond faster loading, the technology also aims to reduce stuttering caused by on-the-fly shader compilations.
The feature is already supported by major titles like Gears of War: E-Day and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, with more games expected to be added over time as developers integrate the technology.
