Elon Musk confirmed on Saturday that TSMC is discussing building and operating a Terafab facility exclusively for Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI.
The discussions were first reported by Tim Culpan’s Culpium newsletter on Friday. Elon Musk wrote on X that the talks are preliminary.
Just discussions, but something may come of it
TSMC has not commented on the matter. The project is reportedly the only other named partner alongside Elon Musk in the Terafab initiative.
